Common questions
Does Sunbrief ever send anything without me?
No. Replies go out only after you tap Send. Drafts are suggestions you review.
What does Sunbrief read?
New Gmail messages, and Slack direct messages, mentions and channels you choose, so they can be sorted into your brief. If you add Google Calendar, it also reads today's meetings, read-only. The privacy policy has the full detail.
How does it learn my voice?
If you tap "Learn my voice", Sunbrief reads about 40 emails you sent, once. It keeps only a short summary (length, greetings, sign-offs, formality), encrypted, never the emails. You can clear what it learned in Settings.
How do meeting briefs work?
With Google Calendar added, Sunbrief prepares a short brief on people from outside your company you're meeting today, using your past Gmail with that person and public, work-related facts from the web. Coworkers are skipped.
Is my data sold, or used to train AI?
No. Sunbrief never sells your data, and never lets an AI provider keep your messages or train on them.
How do I delete my data?
Disconnecting Gmail or Slack deletes what Sunbrief stored from it. Deleting your account in Settings deletes everything.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Sunbrief offers a monthly and a yearly subscription. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial; the monthly plan has none. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel any time in your App Store settings. If you cancel the yearly plan during the trial, you are not charged.
When can I get Sunbrief?
Sunbrief is coming soon to the App Store, for iPhone.
